It's March! 

Can hardly believe how fast this year has gone by. And how unbelievably BAD I am at posting. 

Sorry. :(

This past week has been one of the loveliest. Being able to wear shorts in MARCH? That's right - Michigan weather will always surprise.

With the lovely weather at hand, we couldn't pass up a photo OP!

You guessed it! I spent time getting creative with the young, lovely woman behind Chi-Tography!

Here are a few shots from our classic meets woodsy photo shoot.

New Year's Resolution

Fashion resolutions (as part of Hanh of "Life in Travel" Giveaway here):

1. Do NOT buy clothes, accessories, handbags or shoes for myself for at least 3 months -- this will allow me to be more creative with my current wardrobe and help save $$ and closet space!

2. Donate clothes each month -- always have to remember that there are others who need it more.

3. Instead of picking out my outfit first followed by a purse, I will switch it up by choosing a handbag first, just for kicks. I might end up wearing something I wouldn't normally wear :)

Resolutions for Life:

1. Eat healthier
2. Sleep early
3. Exercise, exercise, exercise
4. Follow my dreams

I know that if I truly work at these goals, I'll feel my best!

Cold Nights Ahead

This post has nothing to do with the cold. In fact, it's just the opposite. True, cold nights are ahead of us (to those of you who live in the Midwest!) but this post revolves around my trip to the west side.. which happened in October. *ahem*, I know I'm horrible at staying current in the blog world but please bear with me. :) I'll promise to keep posting!

So, as I was saying.. I took an impromptu mini getaway with my manfriend to the lovely SoCal to visit family, friends, and the glamorous cities. We were in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and OC the majority of the time. Here are some photos of our quick trip, unedited.

GR Artprize 2011

As the whole world may or may not know, Grand Rapids Art Prize occurred Sept 21 through Oct 9 this year.

It's nice to see GR so full of life with people filling the sidewalks, buildings, and indulging in our city's culture, unique art pieces - some great and some questionable. hehe.
